!GOD! c.1984
god to me is a universal thought
god to me is a love that can’t be bought
wrapped in people who always think love
created by the thought being sent up above
a universal good is wathcing over me
a universal love not measurable by degree
thousands of auras united in the sky
backing one god who resides on high
performing miracles by grand numbers
know mistakes made know evil blunders
forever pure in the good thought of love
represented by some by the gentle white dove
religion is a mistake made by man
subdividing god like a tract of land
there is only one make no error
the alpha the omega the universal carer
many different beliefs and practices by man
should be deposited in the appropriate can
for as long as you love and do other’s right
you may make it someday to the universal light
problems and perils are a small part of life
living might be boring without occasional strife
life without challenge would be a bore
before the healing usually a sore
equal the cycle to that of the tree
some may ask how can this be
seeding sapling adult stump after fall
wet spells dry spells this is the all
but at all times to grow though it isn’t seen
though luck be great or at times lean
continuously reaching higher toward the being
with other light or counsel no time seeing
bathing in the goodness intertwining our spirits
feeling a oneness and hoping one hears that
believing in love and divinity of soul
no understanding why our world is sometimes cold

an ammendment c.1984
this must be it is my fate
separation of the church and my state
others pretend i cannot
lying is wrong i’d rather be shot
it has twisted my mind enough
illogical faith and other stuff
religion is blind i’d rather see
planning my life the way it is to be
this is very hard and not much fun
putting these lifelong beliefs to shun
maybe one day i’ll be proved not right
and regain my lost immaculate sight

because c.1989
without time
age would cease
now and forever
would be one
tension for
tomorrow no more
wanting things
for future
needs present problems
would all stop
without time
it is a very
tiny word
definition
we use for human
existence

the end c.1985
a loud boom broke the din
pellets glanced off my temples then
some forced their way into my head
the power blasted me onto my bed
the blood shower splattered the wall
a trail led into the hall
my eyes and nose had no place
my body found it had no face
if no one finds me it’s sure i’ll die
i even left them a note saying bye
the pain is great but i have no fear
my body knows the end is near
but what of the people that i know
will they realize that i had to go
will their pains ever heal
will they ever again feel
from this nightmare i must awake
tell me god it’s all been fake
alas i’ll know the consequence of this action
but shall not know any satisfaction

black & white c.1993
if everyone’s perspective
just a point of view
as good as any guess
called an opinion
from the hypothesis
another drawn conclusion
eviscerated delusion
scribbled confusion
know thought contrary
penetrates the doubt
attempts to prove
wrong or right
black and white

thorough c. 1982
abbreviate thought
purge logic
consume mores
initiate ideas
suckle peace
evolve understanding
transduce love
buffet stupidity
question rashness
destroy savageness
jacket emptiness
terrorize war
forget differences
unravel hate

Confederacy c. 1983
In This The 19th Chapter In The 4th Clause
It May Be Found That I’m A Rebel With A Cause
Through This Expedition Of The Malnutrition
Of The Heart And Its Lonely Condition
Hurt Pain And Suffering Seem To Abound
Where Love Care And Happiness Should Be Found
The Safari Goes On Through Jungles And Time
Where Deviation From The ‘Norm’ Is The Crime
Open Thought Punished By Ostracization
‘Be Satisfied With What You Have Forget Ambition!’
Dreams Are Left To Perish Between The Oases
Dying Of Thirst In Those Dark Crowded Places
Places In The Mind Places In The World
The Stench Of Death In Both Your Stomach Whirled
Want To Make A Clean Break Out In Front
A Homerun Swing Not A Weak Bunt
To Dock Your Ship At A Safe Pier
Bearings Made Straight Your Path Made Clear
Of All Obstacles Left Once In Your Way
Now That You’ve Made It A Little Time To Play
In This Place Your Dreams Helped To Build
Your Heart Is Full Your Spirit Is Filled
With All Of The Memories Of Where You Have Been,
Never To Be There At Home Ever Ever Again.

Criterion c. 2000
Once upon a story, old, unwritten,
Titled now, again, stranger than fiction.
Happenings random, chaotic, reason
Finding no path, sanity no season.
Cold winter chills passion’s hottest fire,
Caught in the swamp’s rotting, putrid mire.
Stale as sliced bread left four days on the shelf,
Knowing blame is only mine, to the self-
Trust no one, will once again be the rule,
Inside the outside is playing the fool.
Living without you was never the plan.
I stand alone, an evil, thoughtless man.
Realizing at once all of my fears
As the jaded gods cry emerald tears.

Third Option c.2001
The reason to be, a Dane once pondered,
Calendar reads February. Wonder
Ceases never to amaze me, sitting
Knowing there is a love I’ll be getting
At a time when at once it reads, day twelve
Month of Never. Still I endure, and delve
Into the workings of a cold black heart.
What made it beat again? What made it start?
Believing, when suspect was my ally,
Paranoia my friend in arms, belies
Facts and figures and actions accounted,
In the months as they have gone. Discounted
Now and finding little merit passing
When minuses add up, as amassing
Pluses show diminutive progress. Gains
Encircle profit and choke out the pains
Taking me down to a final question.
One I must answer without suggestion.
Whispered, audible and still, quite lowly,
Do you want to die? Yes, very slowly. . . .
